Diaper Bank & More

We provide diapers, wipes and period products to families in our community. Or services are available to parents or guardians of a child in diapers, families expecting a baby and those who are menstruating. Check out the information below for the specifics!

Diapers & Wipes

Families who struggle with diaper need often have to make difficult choices. Daycares will not accept cloth diapers and you must have enough for the day before you drop them of. Placing paper towels in a diaper so it can be reused is not a healthy choice. Diapers are not covered by any assistance program and can not be purchased with food stamps. We aim to help relieve that stress from our families by helping them to make it through “till the next paycheck”. We do receive a portion of our diapers from Diaper Bank of the Ozarks but 75% come from our amazing community!

Period Products

If you have never had to remind yourself to use the dark wash cloth instead of a light colored one because the blood stain won’t be as visible later then you might not understand period poverty. Paper towels, toilet paper, wash clothes, and other items are not healthy options and often end in intense embarrassment. This can lead to missed work or school when you know you don’t have what you need. These items are not covered by any assistance programs and are not purchasable with food stamps. We want to help with this basic necessity.

Newborn Kit

Our Newborn kit is partially provided by Newborns in Need out of Springfield. They provide a wonderful layette bag full of all sorts of goodies for baby. They also provide some of the blankets we receive and a portion of our breastfeeding supplies. Community Foundation of the Ozarks provided the breast pumps and our community provides the majority of our diapers! This kit is available to any family who is expecting a baby in our community. Babies need a great start to life and we want to be a part of that.

How can you be a part?

Donating diapers, wipes, period products and other hygiene items make a world of difference. Monetary donations also help us purchase what we need and keep the lights on. Volunteering to help package diapers, organize and put donations away and more are also an amazing way to participate. We can’t do it without you!
